Normally when I think of moisturizers for dry skin, heavy-duty creams immediately come to mind. While I love the way a rich moisturizer clings to my complexion and offers round-the-clock hydration, some formulas can weigh my skin down. This moisturizer offers the best of both worlds. This moisturizing, non-comedogenic formula—infused with glycerin—helps keep skin actively hydrated throughout the day and strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier to help protect against moisture loss. With use, skin feels fresh, softer, and smoother. What’s more, the formula boasts broad-spectrum SPF 15.

I’m a sucker for all moisturizers with SPF benefits because it adds another layer of protection against harmful UV rays that can cause premature skin aging. That said, the formula has to also be hydrating, non-irritating, and lightweight in order to steal my heart. Garnier Moisture Rescue Actively Hydrating Daily Lotion SPF 15 passed the test. The product smells fresh, feels light on my skin, and provides all-day hydration without stickiness or irritation. The verdict? A great no-frills option for everyday moisture.

Are you on the market for a moisturizer sans fragrance? Garnier just ended your search. This fragrance-free moisturizer offers all the same benefits as Garnier Moisture Rescue Actively Hydrating Daily Lotion SPF 15—of which we discussed above—but without fragrance that can be irritating for some sensitive skin types.

I have combination skin and  typically don’t have any negative reactions  to fragrance in skin care products.However I do appreciate a brand that provides consumers with an option to swap out of a notoriously irritating ingredient. As for the cream itself, I noticed a very similar texture, consistency, and overall feel compared to Garnier Moisture Rescue Actively Hydrating Daily Lotion SPF 15. Overall, I’m very impressed by the moisturizer’s ability to provide all day hydration in tandem with broad-spectrum SPF benefits.
