Kiehl's and Bright Pink Partner Up to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Kiehl’s partnered up with Bright Pink, the national non-profit focused on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women. Read on to find out how you can get involved and support a great cause!

Kiehl’s is first and foremost famed for its skin care range beloved by both men and women alike. But the New York born-and-bred apothecary is also greatly revered for its philanthropic efforts, whether it’s raising funds and awareness for AIDS research, hunger-relief charities, or—most recently—breast cancer.

Earlier this year, Kiehl’s joined forces with Bright Pink, a national non-profit focused on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women. “Bright Pink is a perfect partner for Kiehl’s because not only do they represent a cause we feel strongly about, women’s health, but also because they encourage young women to move from awareness to action and empowerment,” said Chris Salgardo, President of Kiehl’s USA. “Breast cancer is a devastating disease that affects people every day of the year, so we’re so glad that we can make noise outside the traditional time of the year the general public focuses on it.”

To help raise funds, Kiehl’s launched a limited-edition lip set dubbed Kiss For The Cure Butterstick Lip Treatment Duo. For every box sold, Kiehl’s promised to donate 100 percent of net profits (up to $25,000) to Bright Pink for breast health education programs. The brand is also raising an additional $25,000 through Lip Duo purchases, in-store donations, and social media posts. For every post on social media between October 1 and October 31, 2017, with the tags @Kiehls and #KissForTheCure, Kiehl’s will donate $1 to Bright Pink. Selfie time starts…now!

KIEHL’S BUTTERSTICK LIP TREATMENT DUO

One set includes two shades of Butterstick Lip Treatment, Untinted and Simply Rose, in a custom carton. The idea is to keep one lip conditioner for yourself and give the other to a friend or loved one to remind them of the importance of breast cancer education and early detection.

As for the formulas, they’re nothing short of perfection. The creamy, buttery texture is achieved thanks to a combination of butters and oils, including lemon butter sourced from California and coconut oil fairly traded from the Philippines. The result is a lightweight yet deeply hydrating lip conditioner your pout will love. What’s more, both are formulated with broad-spectrum SPF 25 to help protect against harmful UV rays that can damage the delicate skin on your lips.

Keep in mind, it’s a limited edition set so don’t miss your chance to snag it and help a truly outstanding cause!
