If one thing’s for sure, it’s that this superfood smoothie is jam-packed with nutrients. Blueberries and oranges contain antioxidants like vitamin C. Plus the sweet blueberries mixed with the tart citrus, offers up a truly refreshing flavor perfect for hot days in the office—and lounging near the pool! We like to blend our smoothie with Greek yogurt—known for being a great source of probiotics—and chia seeds for their omega-3 fatty acids. Add in a banana and honey for a touch of sweetness and get ready to meet your new favorite snack.
The Beverage
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- ½ banana, peeled
- ½ cup fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 cup ice cubes
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
