For better or for worse, I have combination skin. I notice that I tend to get very oily around my T-zone, while the other parts of my face remain pretty normal or dry during the colder months. Luckily, I don’t struggle with acne other than the occasional PMS breakout, but I do have very large pores. For me, they are the bane of my skin’s existence, and I am always trying different cleansers, primers and every skin-care product under the sun that claims to minimize the look of pores. Made with salicylic acid, this gel mask smooths the feel of your skin and helps pores appear tighter and less visible. This mixture, including ingredients such as salicylic acid, rose water and meadowsweet extract, mattifies and visibly revitalizes dull-looking skin while offering a cooling sensation. According to the brand, after using this mask, you’ll find that your skin seems moisturized, feels smoother and appears more even in tone. You’ll find out how I felt, below.How to Use the Lancôme Rose Sorbet Cryo MaskHere’s the gist: You’re going to want to use this mask two times a week after cleansing your face. The Cryo Mask only needs to be applied for five minutes. Simply, apply by patting a generous layer all over your face, leave it on for five minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. It’s important to note that you should not rub or massage the product into your face. This will probably be the hardest part because the formula feels amazing against your skin. My Final Thoughts on the Lancôme Rose Sorbet Cryo MaskLong story short, I loved it! When I applied it all over my face (without rubbing it in, of course) it instantly provided a mattified effect and helped my skin appear more refined. I also loved the cooling sensation that you get when wearing the mask. If I don’t feel any kind of tingling, cooling or prickling sensation when using a face mask, I’m the kind of person who feels like it’s not really working. Whether that’s true or not, the cool feeling was a big selling point for me because my skin actually felt like something was happening, and it was a very soothing experience. When I washed off the mask, I was pleased with the fact that my skin didn’t feel taut or super dry. After using the mask, my skin seemed moisturized and after using it two times a week, as suggested, I noticed an improvement in the look of my pores and the overall tone and texture of my skin.
