It can be used on large surface areas—think your legs, arms, and torso—and the lightweight formula blends easily providing your skin with all-day hydration, comfortable wear, and a natural finish. To apply, there are just two very simple steps:Step 1: Using your fingertips, apply Leg and Body Makeup onto your skin and blend evenly using long strokes. Blend the edges outward for a more seamless coverage. If you need to customize your coverage, it’s simple. Allow the foundation to dry slightly and then apply additional layers.Step 2: After the makeup has dried, it’s time to set your coverage for a more long-lasting, smudge-proof, and transfer-proof wear. But, if you’re shopping online there’s a handy chart available on the brand’s site to make it simple to find your new shade out of the 12 true-to-tone shades.For purposes of this review I was trying to camouflage a handful of skin imperfections on my legs. First, I’m a klutz to levels most people can’t comprehend so my legs are often covered with unexplainable bruises. Second, I have stretch marks on my upper thighs from a growth spurt way back in high school—I’ve lovingly called them my zebra stripes since I was 17. Since Dermablend Leg and Body Cover is formulated to help cover both of these concerns I was eager to try it out for myself.What I loved most was the lightweight, hydrating formula. When you think of high color often cakey textures come to mind but this formula is anything but. I applied a small amount and blended in the body foundation with a makeup sponge until my leg was covered and then set it with Dermablend’s Setting Powder after it had dried. I felt my legs looked great after I had finished—a far cry from the bruised stems I usually sport. The coverage lasted for the entire day I was out and about running errands and not once did I feel like I was wearing makeup on my legs. While I didn’t need to go up as far on my leg since my stretch marks were covered by my dress, I wanted to see how well the product would cover them and was pleasantly surprised—admittedly my stretch marks are a faded white at this point in my life so they were easy to cover up.Overall I really loved knowing that if I had a big event pop up on my calendar this summer and wanted to wear a shorter dress that I had the choice to put on a makeup product that definitely makes me feel a little more confident about my legs.
