Kiehl's Creme de Corps Has Two New Additions And We're Totally Obsessed

In the world of skin care and beauty, there are certain products that have withstood the test of time—and for good reason. Whether it be a hydrating face cream or a luxe body oil, many of our favorite cosmetics today could have been found in the medicine cabinets of our mothers. In fact, one of our favorite brands, Kiehl’s, has been formulating some all-star face and body products since 1851, many of which are still around today! Take the brand’s renowned Crème de Corps body moisturizer for instance. Since the 1970s, it’s been revered as one of the most hydrating, luxurious body moisturizers in the Kiehl’s line, and has inspired a handful of equally nourishing formulas over the years, including body lotion, body polish, body butter, and—as of recently—a new body cleanser and dry body oil.

That’s right, everyone—Kiehl’s has introduced two new indulgent formulas to the collection dubbed Crème de Corps Smoothing Oil-to-Foam Body Cleanser and Crème de Corps Dry Body Oil, both of which are inspired by the original body cream, and we were able to get our hands on complimentary samples from the brand. Kiehl’s Crème de Corps Smoothing Oil-to-Foam Body Cleanser

This skin-smoothing cleansing oil starts as an oil and transforms into a light, fine foam to cleanse skin, leaving it feeling nourished, soft, and velvety smooth. Enriched with gentle cleansing castor oil, this formula lathers up and rinses clean, for skin that feels supple and moisturized. What’s more? It’s lightly scented with decadent notes of vanilla and almond that envelop the body and senses!

How to Use: Good news—Using Kiehl’s Crème de Corps Smoothing Oil-to-Foam Body Cleanser  is easy. Simply apply this oil-to-foam body cleanser as you would your regular body wash, massaging into wet skin to create a foam, and rinsing clean. To keep your skin feeling soft and hydrated, follow up with your favorite body moisturizer or Kiehl’s Crème de Corps Nourishing Dry Body Oil (more on that later).

Our Review: Being the Crème de Corps-devotee that I am, I was so excited to try out this new addition to the product line. I applied Smoothing Oil-to-Foam Body Cleanser during my evening shower and was immediately drawn to the luxurious smell. It really does create a sensorial experience! I poured a bit of product into my palm and began massaging it into my damp skin. Sure enough, a light foam began to form, which was super neat to see. After rinsing off, my skin felt nourished, soft and smooth, and smelled faintly of this cleanser’s decadent scent.

Kiehl’s Crème de Corps Nourishing Dry Body Oil

This lightweight, luxurious body oil—enriched with squalane and grapeseed oil—nourishes skin with hydration to help achieve a more refined skin texture. What you can expect? Skin that’s soft, supple, and smooth. House in a convenient spray, this formula applies as a fine mist that quickly absorbs into the skin, making it a great option to carry with you while on the go. Similarly to the Smoothing Oil-to-Foam Body Cleanser, Nourishing Dry Body Oil is also scented with decadent notes of vanilla and almond for a pampering, decadent experience.

How to Use: Mist onto clean skin and gently massage until fully absorbed. If you need more hydration throughout the day, feel free to mist away and reapply, or use as a priming layer of hydration beneath your body moisturizer or lotion of choice.

Our Review: What I love about this formula is the fact that it’s a spray, aka no more spilling oil everywhere or using too much product. After drying off, I mist down my legs and arms and gently massage the oil into my skin. It quickly absorbs, leaving my skin feeling hydrated, soft, and delicately scented. Needless to say, reaching for Kiehl’s Crème de Corps Nourishing Dry Body Oil will become a nightly ritual.
