It utilizes color theory to help reduce the appearance of unwanted undertones like redness, dark circles, blemishes, or general dullness. How to Use La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Correcting Pen
For the first use, turn the bottom of the pen five times to dispense enough product onto the built-in brush. Once enough product is dispensed, apply to skin where needed, gently painting over your areas of concern. Next, blend the formula using your finger, tapping gently until your imperfection is disguised.
Who Should Use La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Correcting Pen
Because of its gentle formula, Toleriane Teint Correcting Pen can be used by anyone, even those with sensitive skin. Pick from three shades—yellow, light beige, and dark beige—that can help mask the appearance of mild to moderate skin imperfections. Don’t know which hue to pick? We lay out the benefits of each shade, below.
Yellow: Yellow is the opposite of purple on the color sphere, which means the shade can help mask the appearance of bluish/purple imperfections such as dark under-eye circles. After a long night, use this shade to help highlight and brighten areas on your skin that appear dark and discolored.
Light Beige: This shade is ideal for fair skin tones to help mask a wide range of skin imperfections from discoloration to blemishes. Simply dot or swipe this pen over areas of concern for a more even-looking complexion.
Dark Beige: Struggling to find a concealer that matches your olive skin tone? Toleriane Teint Correcting Pen in Dark Beige was designed with dark and olive skin tones in mind. Reach for this concealer pen to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections.
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Correcting Pen Review
I am quite fair-skinned, and deal with a number of complexion woes include visible dark circles, veins, and redness around the bottom of my nostrils. As such, I was incredibly excited to give the Toleriane Teint Correcting Pens a shot to help reduce the appearance of these imperfections.
I reached first for the Yellow pen, applying light strokes around my under-eye area and along the visible vein near my temple on the side of my face. Tapping the formula onto my skin with my finger, I was impressed by how creamy and blendable it was. The appearance of my dark circles and that pesky vein were instantly masked. It worked even better than my favorite concealer! So far so good.
Next, I reached for the Light Beige formula to help conceal an oncoming pimple and the redness around my nostrils. I brushed the formula around the bottom of my nose, and dotted it on top of the unsurfaced pimple. After tapping the product onto my skin with my finger, all visible signs of redness were reduced. The pigment itself offered an impressive amount of coverage without feeling difficult to blend onto the skin.
Aside from Toleriane Teint Correcting Pens’ ability to mask my skin imperfections, I have to say that the portability is one of my favorite aspects of this product. I’m a less-is-more type of girl, so when a product saves me from packing an extra brush, I’m all about it! Plus, the pen-brush on Toleriane Teint Correcting Pen is precise enough to dot a pimple, while still remaining flexible enough to paint below the eyes or around the nose. Moral of the story? I’ll definitely be incorporating Toleriane Teint Correcting Pens into my daily makeup routine!
