Our Review of Lancôme Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra

I incorporated the oil-free moisturizer into my skin care routine for a month, as I truly feel you need to give a new product that long to see results. After the month was up I found myself continuing to reach for it! I especially loved the pump packaging, as I’m partial to pumps over jars. It made it easy to apply as a final step in my skin care regimen—and as the first step in my makeup routine.

Since the Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra SPF 30 formula offers all-day hydration with a silky feeling, it seemed like a no-brainer to try it before applying my makeup. I loved (loved, LOVED) the silky feeling of this moisturizer. Often moisturizers with SPF feel heavy on my skin and aren’t ideal for wearing under makeup, leaving me with a less-than-stellar foundation finish. This moisturizer was a dream. It glided on to my skin with no pilling. No more excuses for skipping out on products formulated with SPF.

That lightweight texture was also something I loved about Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra. Many anti-aging moisturizers are heavy in texture, but this was nice and lightweight. It instantly blended into my skin and felt comfortable all day. My skin didn’t feel like it was being weighed down by a heavy product—a must for any product I incorporate into my regular routine.

I worried that the lightweight and oil-free formula would mean I was sacrificing hydration. Not the case. Although it’s oil-free it’s also hydrating and that moisturized feeling lasts all day.

Now on for the good stuff: the results. After a month of use I saw an improvement in the appearance of many of my skin care concerns including a few visible dark spots. My skin looked younger—read: more supple, more firm—and felt softer to the touch.
