Waking up with an even skin tone and texture has been a skincare goal of mine for a long time. I have a good amount of discoloration, plus acne scars and the beginning of fine lines, so a retinol is a must-have in my nightly routine. Although effective, retinol can be drying on my skin, so I like to look for formulas that also have soothing ingredients to help keep my complexion moisturized. When L’Oréal Paris gifted me the new Pressed Retinol Night Moisturizer to review, I was stoked to give it a go because it’s specifically designed to visibly reduce wrinkles and deeply moisturize.   After cleansing my face at night, I pump out one dose of the night moisturizer (the pressed packaging makes this easy!) and apply it all over my face. The first thing I love about this night moisturizer is how lightweight it feels on the skin. It’s infused with niacinamide, an ingredient which is known to improve moisture retention [NCBI], and my skin felt hydrated and refreshed after my first application. The other thing I love about this formula is that it doesn’t feel greasy or leave behind a residue — instead, it sinks right into my skin and leaves it feeling plump and soft. Since using this product, my skin appears glowy, even and softer in the morning. After using this for a few nights, I noticed that my skin looks visibly healthier-looking and my fine lines appear less noticeable, too.Photos: Alanna Martine KilkearyRead More:Can Facial Rollers Cause Acne? How to Tell if Your Skincare Products Are Expired7 Pore Minimizers to Try
